Enjoy this healthy green smoothie for breakfast
I’m not the most organised person in the world. As much as I love eating breakfast food, it’s very rare that I make time to actually sit down and eat in the mornings.
Not because I’m crazily busy… No. Actually, it’s because I’ve developed this really bad habit of laying in bed for way too long then running around like a headless chicken right before I have to leave. (Does anyone else do this or is it just me!?) But this delightful morning routine of mine means I eventually learned to take breakfast on the go.
My “meal” of choice? A smoothie. It’s the easiest and most convenient way to fill my tum when I’m in a hurry. This healthy green smoothie recipe that I’m sharing today is one that I’ve been having almost every morning for the last few months and it is delicious. I don’t think I will ever get sick of it.

Use the fortified kind and you’ll be a lot closer to your daily vitamin B12 and vitamin D recommendations. This can be pretty tough to achieve through plant foods alone.
High in vitamin E to keep your skin looking lovely. It’s also full of healthy fats which will help to stabilise your blood sugar and keep you full for hours.
High in vitamins A and K, spinach tends to take on the flavour of whatever it’s blended with. This particular green smoothie recipe tastes kind of like a creamy orange ice pop. That means you get all of the spinach-y goodness without the bitter aftertaste.
Adds a lovely creamy texture and provides a lot of potassium to keep you feeling fab.
