Vegan Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake Recipe

This vegan hot chocolate fudge cake is a single-serve treat that will melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 10 g Vegan butter
  • 10 g Caster sugar
  • 10 g Cocoa powder
  • 10 g Self-raising flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Teaspoon oil
  • 1 Tablespoon plant-based milk

For the hot chocolate sauce

  • 1/2 Teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon boiling water

Instructions

  1. Grease a small ramekin and preheat oven to 180°C/Gas 4.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar in a small bowl.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, oil and milk.
  4. Spoon the cake batter into the ramekin.
  5. Mix together the hot chocolate sauce ingredients and pour the runny mixture over the cake batter.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes and leave to stand for 5 before tucking in!

Recipe Notes

Best served fresh from the oven with a few spoons of vanilla ice cream.
