If you’re from the USA or Australia, don’t worry- you haven’t forgotten about Mother’s Day! Every year when I post anything related to Mother’s Day, I get a lot of people worrying that they’ve gotten their dates mixed up. But Mother’s Day in the UK is just celebrated a little earlier in the year!
I don’t know about you, but breakfast in bed was always my go-to ‘gift’ to my mum when I was a child.I put ‘gift’ in quotation marks because I’m not sure how exciting a bowl of soggy Rice Krispies and a lukewarm cup of tea was for her. Oh well, at least I tried, LOL.
Luckily, there are many more exciting things you can make for mum’s breakfast or brunch! I’ve created this roundup post to give you some ideas. I’ve included a mixture of sweet and savoury recipes so that you can find a recipe to make no matter what your mum’s preference is.
I hope you like the recipes and if you make any of them at home, please let me know how you get on by leaving a comment below. Enjoy! xo
