10 Vegan Cheesecake Recipes (No-Bake)
Looking for some vegan cheesecake recipes? This post is for you! Here I’ve listed 10 of my favourite dairy-free no-bake cheesecake recipes, including strawberry, Biscoff and Oreo flavours. Whether you’re going without dairy or trying out a vegan diet, these recipes will ensure you don’t miss out!
If you’ve been looking for an easy, cashew-free vegan cheesecake for a while now, I am here to help! When I first went vegan, I wanted a good old cheesecake so much! And all I could find was *healthy* cheesecakes.
No offense to healthy desserts, but they are just not my vibe. The texture of a cashew cheesecake is just not the same as the rich and creamy traditional kind. And a date base can’t compete with a classic biscuit cheesecake base. Plus, when I used to try to make healthy cheesecakes myself, I’d always end up with tiny lumps of cashew in the filling because my blender wasn’t strong enough, LOL.
Luckily, you can achieve a rich and creamy vegan cheesecake filling in a cruelty-free, dairy-free way, all without cashews or coconut milk! I’ve made this post for those of you who, like me, have been on the lookout for a simple dairy-free cheesecake that tastes and looks just like the traditional kind. All you’ll need is some vegan dairy-alternatives and a 9-inch springform cheesecake pan.
I have compiled a list of 10 of my favourite vegan cheesecake recipes for you and I hope you enjoy them. Please do let me know if you make any of them, by leaving a comment at the bottom of this page, to let me know how it goes!
1. Biscoff cheesecake
This recipe has been the most popular recipe on my blog since I made it and for very good reason. If you love Lotus Biscoff, you HAVE to try this! It has a base of crushed Biscoff biscuits mixed with dairy-free margarine, and a filling of vegan cream cheese and cream mixed with sweetly-spiced Biscoff spread. You will never be able to tell the difference between this and the traditional version!
2. Mini Biscoff cheesecakes
This is similar to the recipe above but in cute mini serving sizes! You can serve them in mini jars for a slightly larger individual portion or you can make them in cupcake cases if you prefer the finger-food style of dessert. They look super cute topped with a Biscoff biscuit and/or dairy-free whipped cream. Perfect for parties and other special occasions.
3. Chocolate cheesecake
This cheesecake is paired with a Hobnob biscuit base rather than the classic Digestive biscuit base. The filling is made with real chocolate, dairy-free cream cheese, cream and icing sugar. You can drizzle over some melted chocolate once it’s set, to make it look and taste even more fabulous. This cheesecake makes a decadent but light and creamy dessert and is a must-try recipe for all chocolate lovers!
4. White chocolate cheesecake
This is one of my favourite vegan cheesecake recipes I have made so far! It’s made with a slightly spicy gingernut biscuit base, which is the perfect companion for the super sweet white chocolate filling. If you have some dairy-free white chocolate lying around, I strongly encourage you to try this scrumptious dairy-free cheesecake recipe!
5. Strawberry cheesecake
A creamy vanilla cheesecake with a digestive biscuit base, topped with lots of fresh strawberries and sticky strawberry jam. This is delicious, classic dairy-free cheesecake but with a little extra sweetness and texture added from the fruit. It’s so simple to make and would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day dessert.
6. Lemon cheesecake
This cheesecake filling is flavoured with lemon zest and sweetened with icing sugar, making the perfect balance. It has a Digestive biscuit base and is topped with homemade lemon curd for an extra dose of deliciousness! If you enjoy the mix of sour and sweet flavours together, you have to try this dairy-free lemon cheesecake!
7. Vanilla cheesecake
Although vanilla often gets overlooked as a ‘basic’ flavour, this vanilla cheesecake is anything but! It’s perfectly sweet and has a rich, creamy texture. This is a great no-bake dessert for those who prefer their desserts plain and simple, without any extra frills, and you’ll only need 6 ingredients to make it!
8. Oreo cheesecake
Chocolate cookies and vanilla cream come together in this fun Oreo no-bake cheesecake. It’s made with an Oreo biscuit base, and a creamy vanilla filling with chunks of Oreo pieces throughout. Then you can top it with melted chocolate, mini Oreos and crushed Oreo crumbs to give it a more polished look. This one makes a great alternative to a birthday cake and would especially be popular at parties!
9. Easter cheesecake
The next time Easter rolls around, turn one of your vegan Easter eggs into a dairy-free cheesecake! All you need is half of an Easter egg shell, a digestive biscuit base, vanilla cream-cheese filling and some decorations for the top. I used a dairy-free chocolate bunny, vegan chocolate eggs and vegan mini marshmallows. This can be a great single-serving dessert if you don’t want to make a gigantic cheesecake- you can adjust the amount of filling according to your preference.
10. Cheesecake truffles
Last but not least are these cheesecake truffles. Mix crushed up biscuits with dairy-free cream cheese and you have a bite-sized truffle! You can enjoy them as-is or cover them in chocolate to make them a little more fancy. I’ve made Biscoff and Oreo cheesecake truffles before but you can use any biscuit or cookie that you like.
