You’re going to love these vegan desserts without nuts! With over 30 recipes to choose from, you’re sure to find a new favourite or two. Here you’ll find decadent, nut-free desserts such as cheesecakes, brownies, muffins, truffles and lots more!
I’ve ran this vegan dessert blog for almost 5 years now and although all of my desserts are egg and dairy-free, I recently realised I don’t have many allergy-friendly posts. The large majority of my recipes are nut-free and some are gluten-free too, so I wanted to create posts like this one to help those with allergies find them a bit easier.
The best nut-free vegan desserts
I’ve split the recipes into categories, to help you find the recipes you’re most interested in a little bit quicker. The categories are: cheesecakes, cakes, chocolate desserts, biscuits and cookies, muffins, and cupcakes. I hope you enjoy!
Cheesecakes
First, we’ll start with the cheesecake recipes. Unlike many other vegan cheesecakes, these recipes do not contain nuts in the base or the filling. They’re completely free from cashews, almonds and other nuts!
Vanilla Cheesecake
Smooth, creamy vanilla cheesecake with a Digestive biscuit base. An easy, dairy-free twist on a classic dessert.
This cheesecake has a Gingernut biscuit base (don't worry there are no nuts, despite the name) and a sweet, creamy white chocolate filling. The two flavours balance one another out perfectly.
Here are 5 of my favourite vegan cakes without nuts. They’re great for a lazy Sunday bake or something more special like a birthday party.
Biscoff Cake
This is one of my most popular cake recipes and makes a delicious nut-free vegan dessert. It's made up of 3 layers of cinnamon and vanilla sponge cake, a smooth creamy, Biscoff buttercream and Biscoff biscuits.
This blueberry cake is made in a traybake tin, making it a super easy bake that's great even for beginners. It's topped with homemade lemon cream cheese frosting for a delicious flavour combo.
Two layers of vanilla sponge cake, sandwiched together with homemade, vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. A classic dessert made without nuts, dairy or eggs.
This chocolate cake is great for dividing into small portions, making it perfect for parties or other special occasions. It's so easy to make and you can add whichever toppings you like.
These are my favourite chocolate-flavoured vegan desserts without nuts. They’re all easy to make and you’re sure to love them!
Oreo Truffles
These truffles are made with 3 easy nut-free ingredients: Vegan cream cheese, Oreo biscuits and dairy-free chocolate. There's no baking required either!
These are 5 of my best nut-free vegan cookies and biscuits. My personal favourite are the Custard Creams!
Shortbread
Classic Scottish shortbread but without the dairy. These biscuits are crumbly, crunchy and have a rich, 'buttery' flavour. Sprinkle them with extra sugar if you like them super sweet!
When it comes to vegan desserts without nuts, these white chocolate cookies are a go-to recipe. They're soft and chewy with slightly crispy edges, just like the bakery-style cookies.
These biscuits are usually made with dairy but you can make your own version very easily with vegan ingredients! Crunchy, flavourful biscuits with a cute swirly pattern on top.
These muffins are made with gluten-free flour, making them one of the easiest gluten-free and vegan desserts without nuts! These are topped with lemon icing and lemon zest for a bold flavour that everyone will enjoy.
Packed full of warm cinnamon flavours, these sweetly-spiced muffins are perfect for Winter but can be enjoyed anytime of the year. They're super soft and fluffy- always a crowd-pleaser.
These muffins are filled with dairy-free white chocolate and pieces of fresh raspberries. The two flavours pair perfectly together and taste delicious in muffins!
Red velvet cupcakes are a mix of vanilla and chocolate flavours with a vibrant red hue. Topped with vegan cream cheese frosting, these cupcakes taste absolutely divine.
These cute, bite-sized cupcakes are great for children's parties or just for a small afternoon sweet snack. Fluffy vanilla cupcakes topped with icing and vegan sprinkles.
Two of my favourite flavours collide for these decadent cupcakes! Chocolate sponge cupcakes topped with Biscoff buttercream, chocolate sauce and a Biscoff biscuit. Yum!
